Early childhood education is important as we lay the foundation for learning. Supporting other programs such as prekindergarten, home visiting services and high-quality child care is important for the development of our children. Families are struggling to pay for high quality care, but it is tough to pay staff a living wage even more with the increased prices of the supplies and utilities.
